For the moment, all info in this review is based on internet research and conversations with the order takers for slimball. We have not had a chance to try the this diet pill as of yet. But we had an to many emails asking if we knew anything about Bypass2 Slimball to ignore it. As soon as we have properly tested the product we will post more concise info.
How Bypass2 Slimball works
This diet pill sounds feasible. It is a weight loss pill that is made from digestible fibre. When you swallow it, it swells up in your stomach so you feel full up and don’t want anything else to eat. After a while, it slowly dissolves and passes on through the digestive tract. This sounds feasible but they have produced no real medical opinion that it will not be harmful.

I phoned the company today (4-8-08) to place an order for the reinforced cure (the between 20 & 39 lbs). The operator informed me there was a company order. I was going to place the order anyway even though she couldn't give me a timetable when the backorder would be filled. Then she informed me that there were some info in the advertising material which wasn't clear. Then she informed me that the order I desired was for two week @ 4 pills per day. That I would need to order the strong cure or the four week amount and they would add another bottle, or another week. My body would then be able to adjust. I then asked how much could I realistically lose in the two week with order I was seeking. She informed me that now one can lose 20 - 39 lbs in two week, it wouldn't good for one's health. She then admitted that the best I could do would be 2-3 lbs. So, I went from reading the material which indicates I can lose between 20 and 39 lbs on the reinforced cure to maybe 2-3 lbs on the one which is advertised as good for losing between 40 and 59 lbs. My few possible pound loss was getting much more expensive by the minute. How could I trust even good results after several weeks or months if I couldn't trust what the material implied. That ended our conversation and so I checked it off as another weight loss gimmick. Perhaps it works in the long run, but evidently not as advertised. Hopefully someone else who tries it can prove me wrong

The first component in SlimBall is Karaya Gum,
Slimballs website says its a natural fiber that grows 50 times in volume when in contact with water in the stomach. SlimBall increase in volume and occupies a large part of the stomach the brain gets the message that the stomach is full and this sensation helps you to eat smaller portions.
What is gum Karaya really: KarayaGum is an extract of sterculia trees. It is used as a thickener, emulsifier and laxative in foods, and as a denture adhesive. It is also used to adulterate Gum Tragacanth due to their similar physical characteristics. As a food additive it has E number E416.
A second component of SlimBall is pectina of March
They say this is a powerful fruit acid, that is an excellent absorber of lipids. It also reduces the synthesis of cholesterol and triglycerides in the liver. Pectina of March significantly increases termogeneza (the production of heat by muscle).
The last component is magnesium oxide
Again Slimballs website says this is a mineral with calming role that improves digestion and decreases stomach acid increasing the action of other two components.
What is Magnesium Oxide really: In medicine, magnesium oxide is used for relief for heartburn and sore stomach, as an antacid, magnesium supplement, and as a short-term laxative. It is also used to improve symptoms of indigestion. Side effects of magnesium oxide may include nausea and cramping. In quantities sufficient to obtain a laxative effect, side effects of long-term use include enteroliths resulting in bowel obstruction.
Did you see the common factor here, its the laxative effect that two of the main ingredients have. Any weight loss Slimball may offer seems to come from the laxatives and not from the Karaya gum ballooning in your stomach, most people in North America eat in a grazing style throughout the day so Slimball would have little or no effect on weight loss.
Side Effects of Bypass2 Slimball
The Karaya gum is well used in pharmaceuticals and is generally regarded as safe, magnesium oxide however does have some minor side effects at a small dosage.
The Real Score on Bypass2 Slimball
If you look at this product and the comments out there about it, it's unlikely that you will see much of Bypass2 Slimball in the future. This reads more like someone's get rich quick scheme than a legitimate business, their address is fishy, their doctors recommending the product are fishy and their product wreaks of a scam. If we can get a sample of their currently back ordered product we will review it and post a complete review, maybe we are wrong... but I doubt it.
